Parallel Branches

Parallel Branches and Sync Branches prepare the separation and subsequent synchronisation of multiple paths.

Policies available in the Parallel Branches task

:::caution Feature in preview In the current 2.0 version, the panels allow you to configure and save policies, but task execution in branches is not yet active. Do not consider the configurations described on this page as operational. :::

Separation​

Parallel Branches exposes options for:

  • branch selection;
  • condition evaluation;
  • concurrency limit;
  • expected behaviour in case of error;
  • presence of a common synchronisation.

Synchronisation​

Policies available in the Sync Branches task

Sync Branches exposes options for:

  • branches to wait for;
  • separate or combined handling of values;
  • expected behaviour when a branch fails.

Preparation​

You can create a demonstration diagram, save the policies and document the expected behaviour. Before using the flow, check that the preview notice is no longer present in the interface and consult the release notes.
