Task groups

Groups organise the diagram visually without replacing connections or execution conditions.

Create a group​

  1. Locate New Group in the left panel.
  2. Drag it into the diagram.
  3. Assign a name that describes the phase, such as "Acquisition", "Validation" or "Error handling".
  4. Move tasks inside the group.

Organise the diagram​

  • keep groups wide enough to show nodes without overlaps;
  • use short and consistent names;
  • avoid purely decorative groups;
  • keep connections between groups visible;
  • use colours and images only if they improve readability.

Moving a group allows you to reposition its contained elements together. After reordering, save and check that all connections are still readable.

What doesn't change​

Group membership does not determine execution order. The flow is established exclusively by connections, conditions and task behaviour.
