Widget visibility

Show or hide a group of widgets without reloading the page.

Recommended configuration

  1. Select the checked widgets.
  2. Configure the labels for the two states.
  3. Verify the behaviour and optional persistence.

Configuration options

AreaOptions
VisibilityChecked widgets, Show/Hide labels and optional state persistence.
IdentityTitle, Subtitle, header visibility, type icon and actions button.
PresentationStandard, Compact or Dense variant and message to show when no data is available.
AppearanceBackground, background image, border, radius, padding, shadow and typography for different areas.
PositionCoordinates and dimensions in cells within the page or container grid.

Best practices

  • Visibility is a UI preference and not an authorisation rule.
tip

Always check the widget in Preview, in both light and dark themes, and with an empty data state before publishing the View.
